It's a totally fair question. Thieves are able to crack even the most sophisticated systems on luxury cars, so how can telescopic bollards stop them? Below, we'll jump into what makes them so effective.

1: Strong Foundations

When installing telescopic bollards, we usually dig down to 1 meter. Then, we sit the robust, heavy frame of the bollard in this hole, before filling it with cement. This means the bollard has an extremely robust, heavy-duty base, giving the entire unit it's immense strength. This is also why we recommend telescopic bollards over fold-down bollards if anti-theft is the primary objective.

2: Heavy-Duty Materials

All our bollards are made with incredibly durable, strong metals. Our bollards often feature a reinforced steel core, making them extremely difficult to cut through. A thief may come along with an angle grinder, but it would take a very, very long time to cut through the bollard. Not only does this deter the thief, it also makes them much more likely to be caught in the act.

3: Tamper-Proof Locks

Our telescopic bollards are almost all operated using physical keys. We ensure that we only supply bollards with sophisticated anti-tamper locks installed. This means thieves are not able to crack or drill out the locks, making them significantly less vulnerable to manipulation.

4: Anti-Ram Construction

Despite all the measures to prevent theft, certain thieves may simply resort to brute force in an attempt to access your vehicles. Luckily, all our bollards are ram-tested to different speeds. Whilst we cannot guarantee that the bollards will stop high-speed collisions, you can rest easy knowing that unless a thief is willing to initiate a relatively severe crash, your vehicles remain protected.
