Wentworth Gold Guarantee – Terms & Conditions
Wentworth Gold Guarantee – Terms & Conditions
The Wentworth Gold Guarantee
Wentworth Protection guarantees the structural integrity and security performance of our bollards. If a vehicle is stolen from the protected area as a direct result of the Wentworth bollard being physically compromised (broken, cut, or tampered with), we will refund the full cost of the original installation (including VAT).
Term: This guarantee is valid for exactly one year (365 days) from the date of professional installation.
Coverage: The refund is limited strictly to the amount paid to Wentworth Protection for the work done. It does not cover the value of the vehicle, insurance excesses, or any other losses.
Conditions for a Valid Claim
To protect against fraudulent or ineligible claims, the following must be provided:
Police Evidence: A full, official Police Report (not just a Crime Reference Number) stating that the bollard was subject to physical force, cutting, or tampering as the primary method of exit for the vehicle.
Engagement: Evidence (such as CCTV or doorbell footage) confirming the bollard was fully raised and locked at the time of the incident.
Physical Inspection: Wentworth Protection must be granted access to the property to inspect and photograph the damaged bollard before any refund is issued.
Exclusions (What is Not Covered)
This guarantee is designed to cover the physical failure of the product. As such, Wentworth Protection is not liable for a refund if:
Uncompromised Bollard: The vehicle was stolen but the bollard remains intact and functional (e.g., the vehicle was lifted by a crane, driven over a pavement/lawn, or removed via a different exit point).
Key Theft: The theft was facilitated by the use of keys stolen from inside the home, or keys obtained through robbery or coercion.
Note: Electronic "Relay Theft" (hacking the signal) is covered only if the thieves also had to physically break the bollard to remove the car.
Negligence: The bollard was left in the "down" position or was not fully locked.
Unauthorized Alterations: The bollard was modified, repaired, or tampered with by any party other than Wentworth Protection prior to the theft.
Claim Process & Investigation
Notification: Claims must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the theft.
Verification: Wentworth Protection reserves the right to wait for the conclusion of any police investigation to confirm the method of theft.
Payment: Once a physical breach is confirmed and the claim approved, the refund will be processed within 30 days.
Legal Disclaimer
This is a limited service guarantee and not an insurance policy. Wentworth Protection provides physical security barriers; we do not provide motor or property insurance. Our liability is capped at the total value of the original invoice.
