Keyless thieves don’t need your keys or a broken window. They copy your fob’s signal from outside the house and drive off quietly. A steel post locked upright in front of the car is the one thing they can’t get past in seconds.
37% of homes in High Wycombe are semi-detached, often with drives side by side up to the boundary. A post placed close to your own car stops it being driven off without blocking your neighbour.
Around 4 in 10 High Wycombe households (42%) have two or more cars. If both are on the drive, one post placed across the only way out, or one in front of each car, keeps them both where you left them.

Your council is Buckinghamshire Council. Here’s what to know locally, and where to go if someone blocks your drive.
Local parking
Wycombe Wanderers play at Adams Park, at the far end of Hillbottom Road about two miles west of the town centre, and that road is the only way in by car. On match days parking restrictions and traffic wardens operate on the surrounding streets, and fans have been asked not to block access for residents or emergency vehicles.

“Efficient, professional and excellent value. Very happy to have the additional peace of mind and extra security on my property. Highly recommended.”
“Excellent all round job very pleased with the installation. Dean was very tidy with his work and would recommend them to anyone. I consider this to be a reasonable investment on the basis that I know if my car was stolen I know I wouldn't get back the true value of the from the car insurance company. Also I spoke to James on a Thursday and the job completed by Tuesday. Paul”
“We had 2 telescopic security posts fitted just before Christmas & are so pleased with the whole process. Very professional & clean. Flo was very patient with me asking lots of questions and didn’t pressure us into a decision.”
A raised, locked security post in front of your car stops it being driven off the drive, even if a thief has got in or copied a keyless fob. With 42% of High Wycombe households running two or more cars, we often fit one post per car. It’s the layer that still works when alarms and trackers don’t.
The same as everywhere we work. Fully fitted, telescopic security posts start from £799, heavy-duty from £949, automatic bollards from £2,999 and parking posts from £310. Every price includes fitting, concrete, drainage, making good and a full clean-up.
Yes. Our vetted local installers fit driveway security posts and parking posts across High Wycombe, including Hazlemere, Downley, Sands, Terriers, Booker, Wycombe Marsh, Loudwater, Micklefield (HP10, HP11, HP12, HP13, HP15). Enter your postcode for your fitted price.
Usually not, for a bollard on your own drive. If your home is listed or in a conservation area, check with Buckinghamshire Council first.
If they’re on the road across your dropped kerb, contact Buckinghamshire Council, and ask Buckinghamshire Council about an H-bar marking. If they’re parking on your drive itself, a fold-down or telescopic parking post stops it for good.
