Thieves can open and start many modern cars without the keys, but they still need to drive them off the drive. A security post set deep in concrete blocks that getaway, so the car stays where you left it.
54% of households in Camberley have two or more cars, so most drives here hold more than one overnight. We usually fit one post per car, placed in the path each car would take to leave.
40% of homes in Camberley are detached, and many sit behind a private drive set back from the road. That keeps cars off the street, but it can also keep a thief out of sight. A heavy-duty post or an automatic bollard in front of the car takes the getaway away.

Your council is Surrey Heath Borough Council. Here’s what to know locally, and where to go if someone blocks your drive.
Local parking
Parking around Frimley Park Hospital, on the edge of Camberley, was a concern for residents for years. Surrey County Council introduced extra waiting restrictions in Frimley and around the hospital in 2007 to tackle hazardous and inconsiderate parking on through routes and in residential streets.

“James at Wentworth Driveway Security was very helpful. We got the whole job done, from quote to fitting in just four days. The bollards are fully electric, and I feel more at ease now leaving my car on the driveway overnight. Especially with all the thieves about.”
“Very quick turnaround from quotation to installation. James and the team were very friendly, helpful, and provided good advice. The team arrived on time on the day of fitting and left the driveway really clean, neat and tidy. Their price is higher than some competitors, and other places include a 3-year warranty in their price. Overall, a really good company and a positive experience. Thanks to James and the team for helping secure my driveway!”
“Very efficient and neat fitting of two stainless steel bollards by Dean. Would highly recommend this service to others thinking of increasing their security at home. Thank you Wentworth Driveway Security Bollards.”
A raised, locked security post in front of your car stops it being driven off the drive, even if a thief has got in or copied a keyless fob. With 54% of Camberley households running two or more cars, we often fit one post per car. It’s the layer that still works when alarms and trackers don’t.
The same as everywhere we work. Fully fitted, telescopic security posts start from £799, heavy-duty from £949, automatic bollards from £2,999 and parking posts from £310. Every price includes fitting, concrete, drainage, making good and a full clean-up.

Usually not, for a bollard on your own drive. If your home is listed or in a conservation area, check with Surrey Heath Borough Council first.
If they’re on the road across your dropped kerb, contact Surrey County Council, and ask Surrey County Council about an H-bar marking. If they’re parking on your drive itself, a fold-down or telescopic parking post stops it for good.
