Scorpion X-Series Immobiliser, Fitted at Your Home

Your car, your code

Modern thieves don’t need your keys. The X-Series adds a step only you know, hidden inside the car on its own data network (the CAN bus). There’s no box on show and nothing for a thief to find.

  1. 1

    Get in as normal

Unlock with your key or keyless entry, the same as today. Nothing extra to carry: there’s no fob or card.

  2. 2

    Press your secret sequence

A short sequence on buttons already in your car, like the steering-wheel controls or window switches. It takes a couple of seconds.

  3. 3

    Drive. It re-arms itself

Start the car as normal. When you switch off, it’s protected again automatically. Nothing to remember, nothing to set.

What it stops, and what it doesn’t

When a thief tries

  • Relay attacks. Thieves boost your key’s signal from inside the house so the car unlocks. It still won’t start.
  • Cloned or reprogrammed keys. Thieves plug into the diagnostic port and program a new key in minutes. The new key won’t start it.
  • Stolen keys. Even with your real keys, from a burglary or a lost bag, they still need your sequence.

What it can’t do

An immobiliser can’t stop a car being lifted onto a truck or towed, and it won’t stop someone breaking in. No product can guarantee a car won’t be stolen.

On your drive, a locked driveway bollard physically blocks the car, which is why the two work best together.

Questions about the Scorpion X-Series

Will it work on my car?

It fits most modern cars and vans. Send us your make, model and year and we’ll check before booking. If your car isn’t compatible, we tell you before you pay anything.

What does it cost?

£649 for one vehicle or £1,199 for two, including VAT and fitting at your home or work. You can pay in 3 interest-free payments with Klarna, subject to status. Your written quote is valid for 14 days.

What can’t it stop?

An immobiliser stops the car being driven away. It can’t stop a car being lifted onto a truck or towed, and it won’t stop a break-in. On your drive, a locked bollard physically blocks the car, which is why the two work best together.

Will it lower my insurance?

Ask your insurer whether it affects your premium. We don’t promise a discount, because each insurer decides for itself.

What warranty do I get?

A 2-year manufacturer’s warranty from Scorpion Automotive, on top of your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The Wentworth Gold Guarantee covers our bollards, not immobilisers.

Can a garage still service my car?

Yes. Service / valet mode lets a garage move and service the car without your code.

Prices correct at October 2026. Klarna: subject to status, Klarna’s terms apply. 14 days to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To arrange fitting we share your name, contact details, address and vehicle details with our installation partner (privacy notice). Scorpion and X-Series are trademarks of Scorpion Automotive Ltd.
