Thieves can open and start many modern cars without the keys, but they still need to drive them off the drive. A security post set deep in concrete blocks that getaway, so the car stays where you left it.
45% of homes in Beckenham are flats, so many cars sit in allocated bays or shared car parks rather than on a private drive. A lockable post in your own bay protects the space and the car in it. Check your lease first.
31% of homes in Beckenham are detached or semi-detached, most with somewhere to park off the road. A telescopic post sits flush when it’s down, so it’s there when you need it and out of the way when you don’t.

Local parking

“Couldn't recommend this company highly enough. Flo was professional and very helpful with answering all my questions! The bollard was fitted within a few days by Tony who did a great job of explaining how it worked. I now have complete peace of mind that my driveway is secure. Great company to deal with.”
“Had 2 security posts replaced , Wentworth security was excellent , did a great job I’m very impressed their staff..”
“Wentworth security were fantastic. Very speedy in replying to my query and even quicker to schedule the installation. The folks installing were polite, knowledgeable and friendly. They worked hard and completed the install in two hours. They cleaned up and even vacuumed the drive after. Can’t thank you all enough for a great job!”
A raised, locked security post in front of your car stops it being driven off the drive, even if a thief has got in or copied a keyless fob. With 25% of Beckenham households running two or more cars, we often fit one post per car. It’s the layer that still works when alarms and trackers don’t.
The same as everywhere we work. Fully fitted, telescopic security posts start from £799, heavy-duty from £949, automatic bollards from £2,999 and parking posts from £310. Every price includes fitting, concrete, drainage, making good and a full clean-up.

Usually not, for a bollard on your own drive. If your home is listed or in a conservation area, check with London Borough of Bromley first.
If they’re on the road across your dropped kerb, contact London Borough of Bromley, and ask London Borough of Bromley about an H-bar marking. If they’re parking on your drive itself, a fold-down or telescopic parking post stops it for good.
